I know I posted this before but I tried a second laptop and it failed as well. The laptop at work seems to be okay and I compared the Codex from the one from my laptop at work to the ones at home and they seem to be the same. There were no upgrades or changes to the bird or the laptops between the pass and fail. I used to be able to watch videos no problem and now all the sudden I can't see them.

Change your file save extension and see if that makes any difference.

FYI to new readers - here are the suggestions from the other thread:

Reboot your computer (since you said the videos played fine earlier today)
Reinstall WMP
Download new codecs for WMP. Here is one place to check.
Use an alternate player such as VLC
Check out this Google search or this forum search for additional ideas.
Good luck!

As a work around you could download and install VLC Player for free and it plays everything. If you're interested click HERE.

You never mentioned what resolution and frame rate, on both working and non working. Sometimes they are adjusted. Sometimes not.
