Clear Sticky tape under gimbal?

when you slide on the standard dji plastic camera holder for transport, I have a clear plastic strip above the camera / underneath the gimbal, are you suppose to peel this off lol?

Can't imagine a piece of tape is supposed to be there. Is it actually attached to anything, like holding anything? Any mention of it in the manual?

You can just se the orange tab at the end of it.

Had it on all of mine and just removed it.
Don't beleave it affects anything ether way.

It's okay to remove it. I've removed it from all of my Phantoms.
