Chicken & Egg Dilemma

So I just received the new DJI Tx/Controller Model:NPVT581 . And I also need to update the recent Firm-ware upgrade for my P2V+ .

I am curious what to do first....

a. Update most recent firmware....Then Bind new Tx/Controller to my system?


Or


b. Bind the new Controller to my system.....Then do the Firmware updates...?

Ok I will answer my own ??.. I linked the Phantom to the Tx. First then updated the firmware.

I think either order is fine. Depending on your remote control firmware version, the camera pitch control might not work until upgrading the remote control firmware though. But, if you're doing both things back-to-back, that really wouldn't be an issue.
