I have just bought a Phantom 3 Advanced from Ebay, the seller said he had only used it for 30 mins and found it was not for him.

I believe that the battery keeps a record of times charged, will i be able to tell if it has been just been used for a short time, I payed a little more because of this, thanks.

In the GO app, you can check how many times the battery has been cycled. I would not expect a battery that has only been flown for 30 mins to have more than 2 cycles.

If you fly the battery and upload the log to Healthy Drones you will get charge cycles, total airtime and capacity info (including cell balance).

That number increments each time the battery is charged 100%. Since the battery is never completely depleted, that means it would take at least two charges to increment the count by one.
