Case

What is the best carrying case for the dji phantom quadcopter?

Your friend,
Jake Wohlers

This ultimately depends on your budget. I paid $49 for a "Duratool" case and I love it. You will have to do some carving as the foam needs to be customized by you, but even this is actually good so you can arrange things to your liking.

Also depends on where you intend to go or how far you expect to travel; you may be able to use the original box that it came in or invest in a Pelican case, if you're going to stick your aircraft in the boot of your car or go off-road or even if you're taking it on a real plane.

This place http://www.rtfdrones.co.uk/ have some nice Peli/non-Peli cases for Phantoms where the foam is already cut for you. (no connection and not used, yet)

Just make sure that you get the right size, and then a little bit more for future expansions.

I use the duratool as well. I love how it's essentially a blank canvas and you can customize it exactly how you want.
