So I finally ordered a nice case for my bird. Got the Nanuk 950 from the classifieds here for a great price. I wanted the rolling hard case to take with me when I travel, sometimes 3 weeks out of the month.
I was thinking that I would have to pack some items, like the Maxx Range DBS, and my Sunhans amps, in another bag.
Well, I got the case today and realized there was plenty of room to make things fit.
Grabbed my hacksaw blade and cleared a few spots.
So now everything I have fits in this case. My Maxx range antenna, smaller DBS antenna, Nvidia Shield K1, 5 batteries (I only have 3 right now), 4 battery charging hub, lots of spares and tools. And the best thing is I can fit my RC without taking my amps and battery off!
So I just wanted to post this along with some pics for those that might think they won't fit all their items in their case once they upgrade a few things. It can be done, at least I know with the Nanuk 950 it can.

That's what I did too! Made all my stuff fit in a go professional compact roller case. The only thing I need to still do is cut a relief in the lid foam for my iPad Pro

Let me know how it works out with the iPad Pro.

That looks great!
I would love to see a close up pic of how you attached to the tripod.
I've been thinking of doing this a few times for a few longer flights.i used the original tripod mount then hot glue with 2 screws for extra support.hope this helps.the white mount is from drone evolutions.
