Can you power up Phantom 2+ without the gps module ?

Anyone can advise if you can power up phantom 2+ without the plug of gps on the main board ?

If you forget to connect the gps it won't power up.

Thank you Meta4, for general info, till the GPS module arrive, The Phantom 2+ will not power up, after a crash which resulted in a broken GPS module. When connected to the assistant, the flight controller is updating ok, the board is updating fine, the imu is calibrating ok, i get continuous yellow blinking when "power on" in NAZA-M Mode in ATTI SW1 but when i put the levers to power up motors from constant yellow blinking (no GPS) I get 5 blinking red lights and then returns to blinking yellow. I could find nothing on Google, or YouTube. I was wondering if I have any other problem due to this severe damage crash.
