Camera tilt upward 30 degrees

The instructions show the camera is capable of an upward tilt of 30. The app shows that it can do it but is greyed out. My question is is it only capable of that automatically. I know the inspire can manually tilt upwards i wasnt sure if there is a way to get the camera on the p3p to do it as well...
