Camera screen on phone disconnects

Just bought a phantom three standard second hand.
After flying at an altitude around 40 meters in the woods and garden it will disconnect the phone, but I can still fly the drone.
Any advice

I believe the P3S does not have the long range video ability of the P3P or P3A. When you say "in the woods" do you have trees between your controller and the drone? If so that will affect the reception.

Well not really it's above the trees but there is still a direct connection, and in my garden it will easily be disconnected at 40m altitude with no obstacles in the way

I've been hearing about disconnection since the 3.0 App came out. A lot of complaints about it. I wouldn't panic yet. Lets see if they come out with a fix.
