Camera lens protection (in-flight)

Greetings!

I have to admit I have been lurking around for a couple of weeks, I only was introduced to quadcopter flying and The Phantom by accident a few weeks back, this is exactly what I have been waiting for and I will now be able to complete a video project I started late 2009.... FINALLY!

Quick question, I have not seen any product that offers lens protection while filming. Considering the high cost of replacing the camera I shudder at the thought of getting a scratch or scuff on the lens while filming. Are there options out there for lens protection?

GO PRO?
I'm using the protection of the underwater box. I remove it from the box and put it directly on the lens with tape.
My Phantom crashes, and i've had to buy a new one, cause the lens got scratched...
