Camera has very little movement after updates

Got paranoid about drone falling out of sky so I updated. Had .3 (I think) went to .4, then .8 and finally 1.10.90 and the controller is now 1.8.0 and DJI Go is latest ver.
Everything appears to be ok expect the camera moves maybe 1/4" to each side and thats it. No other movement at all. When I first power up the drone the camera moves around like normal, but I can't move it.
Any ideas ?

I think that might be normal. On the ground you can't move it more than a 1/4 inch left and right, and not up and down at all. But the bigger question is, how do the videos look? Are they stable?

The camera is not meant to move from side to side...what you're describing is normal. The small amount of movement you're seeing is designed to keep the video smooth when you turn, and prevent a sudden jerk in the video. The only time it moves fully sideways is when the gimbal is doing its self check when you start up.

Ok thanks. I haven't used it since last summer and must have forgotten what it does when not in the air. When I get a chance I'll fly it and see what happens. **** updating never seems to go smooth, so I get a little paranoid.
