Camera Gimbal retainer pins

Well I think I outsmarted myself. My camera stopped responding to gimbal commands while flying. I thought it was broken. So I took it inside and saw that only two retainer pins were in the camera gimbal rubber mounts. So I added the two from the spares kit. But while searching for more of the pins to put back in the spares I found a picture of the camera which clearly shows there were only two pins when it shipped. So I didn't lose them but now I have two extras installed and wonder if I should try to force them back off or just leave them there. Any thoughts before I break something?
BTW, gimbal worked fine when everything was reset.

And what is the little rectangular button on the bottom of the pv2+ camera?

Just leave them installed. They are not designed to be reused.

The little button on the bottom of the gimbal activates the Corbomite self-destruct device. Use with extreme caution!
