I charged a battery last night using my imax B6, all went well, it beeped to say fully charged but then there was a burning smell.
Now when I try to turn the battery on all 4 LEDs scroll then go off and leave one LED on but the battery wont turn on.
Ive pulled it apart and found a SMD component on the board black and burnt, its marked as 'D2', just above and to the right of the white spot, picture below.

My question is does anyone know what this component is or does anyone know where I can get a new board or even an old expired battery that I can cannibalise for parts?

I have SMD soldering equipment so could perform this repair if I can get hold of the parts.

Agreed, plus the Cathode band on the PCB for polarity/orientation.

I dont suppose anyone knows the value of this part so I can replace it?
The markings on it are burnt away so I cannot identify it.
