Hi Folks
I have an iMac and it handles the videos well with iMovie which I am still learning to use.
I've googled and I've searched this forum also tried a trial of amiersoft DVDs burn application, but the quality was v poor.

I just want to burn a copy on dvd to give away to family, neighbours etc., of the videos I've done, that they can play on their widescreen TVs.

It can't be that hard can it? ( I know I shouldn't have bought a Mac, ironically I bought it for its video handling capacity! and yes it has a DVD writer)
Any advice would be appreciated.

YouTube Vimeo Facebook are not an option I'd just like DVDs !!

Macs don't come with iDVD anymore for burning movie DVDs. You need 3rd-party software to burn a DVD with menus, chapters, etc.

A quick search revealed some people recommended this free app: miDVD
