I still find that despite balancing my props I often get "bumpy" footage from my Phantom 1 / aeroXcraft gimbal setup. It is worse if I flyaway from a subject or across a subject. Where the shots often has at least one or more bounces every so often. But can occur when I just leave the Phantom hovering. Breeze is a key suspect and the Phantom does bounce around so can see how this would appear as micro or bigger jumps on the filmed footage. And yet I see loads of footage on vimeo & Youtube where the craft in even fairly windy conditons seems to produce less or no bumpy shots. And the footage is not always fed through warp stabilizer. I do use prodad mercalli which helps but can also produce its own rather unpleasant effects!
Any ideas to get better footage? Better gimbal, better weather or just a better pilot!
