Hello everyone. My name is Dave Wallace and new to this forum. I am currently not even a drone newbie but I am an RC airplane enthusiast. I am the president of the Sky Pirates RC Club that has been operating out of a field in Plumsteadville, Bucks County PA. for over 23 years. We are located on Route 413 a couple yards North of Township Line Rd. on the right. We are AMA sanctioned. We presently have approximately 20 members and one of the guys has a miniature hand size quad copter. That is the extent of our exposure to your area of the RC hobby. Our next monthly meeting is will be August 5, 2015. We fly till about 7:00 then start the meeting. I have prepared a short presentation to explain the benefits of welcoming UAV's to fly at our field. Wondering if anyone out there would be interested in stopping by to share the basics of the Drone/Quadcopter world with us. Typically a dozen or so members attend for a very low keyed informal gathering..

You guys will be so blown away with the capabilities of the P3 as a flying camera with assisted flight control features. Would be nice to take off from the old courthouse roof and do a night time flight over Doylestown. You don't have to fly very high to view Limerick Nuclear Plant, Philadelphia, and Trenton.

Next meeting will be September 1 or 2. Not sure because I believe we return inside. You flew from our field ? We're any of our members there to greet you ? Sorry again we missed you. Do you believe the the UAV segment of the Rc hobby would benefit having a field like ours to congregate?
Yeah, sorry about that. We got there around 6:30pm hoping to find someone. Were waiting a couple of minutes, and thought maybe someone would arrive later, so to make some time we decided to take off and fly a little; might as well check out the field. Then at around 7:30ish, when we were about to pack up and leave, a gentleman arrived (I am terrible with names) looking for you guys also, he said he was in the neighborhood and wanted to say hi. We showed him our equipment and he was marveled and thought you guys might love checking it out also.
Sadly, the first two weeks of September, I'll be out of the country in a business trip. So we'll have to find another time to meet up. My friend might be able to meet with you guys, but I don't know his schedule.
