broughty castle sunrise

Three cracking little videos - the last time I visited Broughty Ferry was about 1980 when Scottish National Trust used it as a starting point for one of their cruises.

That year I also went on a short "tourist" cruise for an hour or so to look at the new and old Tay railway bridges. The vessel they were using at the time was called "Tay Queen" and it had a familiar feeling to it. Hardly surprising when I found the makers plate - she'd been originally called "Bridlington Queen" and I'd made numerous excursions on the old girl from Brid out to Flamborough Head in the 50's and 60's - happy memories!
