Hey guys
Long time listener, first time poster.

Just ran the RC assistant, did a recalibration of the sticks, and followed up to do the secondary recalibration through the phantom itself.

Plugged phantom in, turned on RC, turned on phantom.
"Update to firmware 3.8 it said (I think that was the number), I clicked ok, pop up window "Upgrade failed," now loud beeping with flashing red lights when I turn on the phantom. Cycled my laptop, and the power on the phantom a few times, went through the procedure again for PT2 assistant, and still the same problem.

Thought it might be a linking issue and per page 11 of user manual, relinked by pressing red flashing led on bottom of copter, to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Blinking red lights/beeping after failed firmware upgrad

A couple different options.

1) reinstall ( driver ) dji.com
( this allows PC to talk to phantom

2) try different data cable ( could be defective? )

3) try different USB PORT on PC!

4) reinstall newest PC assistant

5) possibly reinstall RC assistant

Something maybe corrupted in your PC, just reinstall everything,
Try again, keep us updated! Hope this helps!

Take care, Fly safe!
