Black Pearl Image Resolution - only 480i?

The resolution of my BP screen image in Diversity mode is pretty low. I'm not expecting super HD or anythng, just a slightly clearer image. In the bottom of the on screen menu, it indicates "480i". The specs indicate this is a 1024x600 screen. I have read the manual and there seems to be no way to change the resolution.

Is 480i the max resolution for FPV on the BP?

480i is SD (i.e. not HD) resolution for NTSC (North America) which is what your vTX is sending.
