Black Pearl 12V automotive battery charger

Just use an inverter. They are not very expensive and you can run to charger other things to...like Phantom batteries

although an inverter may be the easiest solution, its certainly not the most efficient. The original Black Pearl transformer has an output of 12volt, so all your doing is taking the 12volt car supply, inverting it to 240v for the Black Pearl transformer then to reduce it back to 12v. All you need to do is get the correct plug from Maplins & solder it to a car cigarette light plug

Your right of course, the dji battery charger is also 12v but for the devices safety I would reckon using the designed charger would be better. And a biggy...an inverter is versatile.
