Slightly off topic, but is there a way to mount the go-pro with its protective case onto the zenmuse h3-sd gimbal? doesn't need to be fancy, I was thinking of just using tape or something. I would be more inclined to shoot more risky shots like this with some protection.

Nope, Zenmuse is balanced for naked GoPro
