best antenna for FrSky X8R

I've seen several people recommend the FrSky 25cm antenna for the X8R, and others leave the X8Rantennas in. It's there a reason not to use the original DJI antenna from the stock receiver, already installed in the P2?

I may be totally naive, but the P2 stock antennas look a lot like the Fr SKY 25cm antennas.

Any thoughts on that?

You can use the stock P2 antennae just fine. The 250mm option just gives you a little better separation from other components as well as the ability to mount them at 90deg to each other.

Thanks. AND, pardon a dumb-*** question, but the two antennas have to balance each other (be the same) is that right? Or not?
