Best 5.8 ghz antenna for control distance

Anyone using another antenna than the stock one for their controller? Interested to know any good antennas out there for control distance.

yes but I want some people to post with their experiences, I was looking at http://fpvlr.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=77&product_id=57
but it states

"This will require a matching pinwheel antenna for 5.8 ghz for best performance, but can be used with spironets, CL and SPW as well."

why can't I use this by itself and replace where the current controller antenna sits.

If you only change the control antenna you will loose the video link long before the control link which will make it a waste of time.
