ive been flying my phantom for a month now? never had a problem.i use to hold my patience wait for my green light il make sure im good to go... incase i lost control/vision i'm confident for my RTH. i always read forums gathered everything.. keep in mind? always check after and before flight... i guess patience is the key... ...enjoy flying folks.....

Welcome! A little bit of patience pre-flight seems prudent to me when you are talking about sending $1000 flying into the air and want it to come back when asked to.
