I've seen a Youtube video where the person who provided tips on using the Phantom camera suggested securely storing batteries in a sturdy box, such as a metal ammunition box.

How much of a concern are the Phantom and Phantom 2 batteries exploding or leaking or otherwise becoming a hazmat issue?

Do the batteries need to be stored so securely in an ammo box?

A while ago I started a thread in each of the 3 main Phantom forums here. There was good discussions in each of them. Here is the link to the P2 one. viewtopic.php?t=14077

Thank you. I had tried to search for previous discussions on this issue, but for the life of me, I could not find them.
