Evening all....

On my 550 I'm using either 1 x " Gens ace" 14.8v 5000mAh 40c batt or 2 x "Tiger" 11.1v 2800mAh 30c batts

These are the levels I've plugged in...

1st Level
No load 11.8 Loss 1.0 Loaded 10.8
2nd Level
No load 11.6 Loss 1.0 Loaded 10.6

To the experts in this , does this sound right ?

09:24 until she will not fly anymore using 5000mAh windy day

09:48 until she will not fly anymore using dual 2800mAh windy day

Ok there's lots of discussion how to get greater flight times. I've resigned to this time limit. What my question is. Do those levels sound right ?
And do those levels work for the two different battery combinations ?

Flame Wheel 550
NASA
DataLink
DR16 receiver
FeiyuTech gimbal + GoPro riding on two carbon rails out front using Batts as counter weight.

Regards Browneee

Re: Battery Levels 3s & 4s

Looks like you have a 4S ad a 3S there, judging by the voltages you mention, 4s being 14.8 V and a 3S is 11.1 V. You can't use the same cutoff levels for both. If you switch from one battery to the other you need to go in and set the 80% rule levels for each. If you run your 4S to 11 volts it's bye bye battery, possibly even bye bye Flamewheel. You need to stick to 3S or 4S throughout, or take your laptop and reset in the field when switching batteries.

Edit - your subject line confirms you have 3S and 4S.

Ok that confirmed a gut feeling I had. With this levels mentioned above "OBVIOUSLY" using the dual batt set up just felt comfortable.

So ok .... What's this 80% rule then ? Batteries are white mans magic ?....
