Battery issue

anyone had a battery where it's fully charged, shows the 4 lights but when you put it in the quad and power it on the battery shuts off.

Also when I use a discharge bulb unit the unit shuts off straight away.

It's supposed to be like it's counterpart that i got when I bought the quad and only had a few uses,

Also when it shuts off the power button stays red for a few minutes.

Is it done for ? Hoping not

Most likely it is done. Given it's a P2 it's possible the batt is a couple of years old. Not sure exactly when they stopped producing them but DJI does not sell OEM batts. for them anymore.

I had one do the same thing. I bought a used Phantom 2 vision plus off eBay. Come to find out that the original owner left it fully charged for a long time, and it ruined the battery. Anytime you charge a battery, you should used it before 24 hours. There it no way to bring it back from this, that I know of.

24hrs is a bit too conservative.
A week is safe at the inside. A bit longer in actuality.
