Bald Head Island Lighthouse

Sharing some work we did on the bald head island lighthouse in North Carolina.

We flew up and down the lighthouse and collected around ~650 photos. The photos were stitched together and used to created a 3D surface. Attached is a 2D photo of the side of the lighthouse. We are currently 3D printing a color replica of the lighthouse, which should be delivered later this month.

Very hard. requires many softwares, and good flying skills. :). And a high end computer to process.

But I doing it for a living, so I have the tools required. :D
