I'm can see the novelty factor and that in some situations it might be a useful tool. However, for me, there is a lack of maturity about the systems to have a completely autonomous self following aircraft. You'll see the end result in the video. The good thing is that these projects are being developed outside of China.

I've got absolutely nothing against Chinese manufacturers. But I do have some serious questions about their customer service ethos. Yes, it's early days but, (for me at least) competition is a good thing.

indeed. but the video was released by the BBC 1 hour ago. it's specific to a BBC reporter trying the airdog. Yes, there's lots of debate about these systems. As there should be ;)
