Article on Drones and filmmaking

I almost stopped reading after the first paragraph when I got to this part:

There's just one holdup: it's illegal in the U.S.

Thing is, it's not. The regulation of remotely controlled model aircraft is not regulated by the FAA at all, commercial or otherwise. For now.

Reading on, I see that the overall tone of the Bloomberg article is positive towards the use of "drones" and touches on several of their many positive (and economical) uses. To me, the article also shows how the big players are positioning themselves (with the help of well placed lobbying dollars) to make sure that the inevitable new laws and regulations work to the benefit of their corporate interests.
