The video output from the ImmersionRC Duo receiver plugs into the Black Pearl monitor.

Do you i think i can reach 3.8 miles?

Also what phantom do you guys recommend PHANTOM 2 or PHANTOM 2 VISION OR PHANTOM 2 VISION +

Is there anywhere where i can send this in so they could install the parts i want on it?

Before you get ready to fly 5 km, get lots of practice flying stock. You'll find issues, and when your helicopter is out of sight is not the time to find them.

Furthermore, if you're not comfortable enough with your machine to install your own parts, flying outside of visual range is not a good idea. Too much can go wrong.

Why do you want to fly so far away? Is there something in particular you're trying to look at?

if i wanted your advice on practicing i would of asked for that advice but i didnt. So dont reply back agian.

Any major brand running shoe will work. I've been using the minimal style running shoes for years now.

I could have given you lots of advice but I dont need to now because you have copied the information from my Youtube page ;)

Steady on there! Dont get your knickers in a twist! With a reaction like that don't expect too much of a response. Politeness cost nought.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 8

From my reading the PVPlus seems the best for any job, I myself (if that is even grammatically correct) are trying all sorts of ways to convince someone to buy me one, I hope I didn't say anything wrong and I did have input on part of your question, Gods Honour.

Please don't tell me off I get enough of it from Her inside.
I must say the distance your trying to get is truly impressive and I wish you well and I promise to return it :)
Have Fun.

The equipment is only part of the equation, you also need experience, skill and balls.

Maybe OP already knows all about antenna and how to orient them.

Maybe OP was trying to drug runs over the border and didn't want to catch any attention. :)

Who knows, looks like he just wants to know if his setup can get it done. I am going to venture he would be interested in a setup that can actually get it done.

To OP: There's a thread on this forum that has a detail from a guy that flew over the distance you mentioned. That would be the guy you want to ask as he actually did it with video and pictures of his setup. But since you didn't ask for that, I'll not bother you further with related information.

i would just use a windsurfer mod to go further. just went out 3.8 miles with no fail safe. thats about as far as you can get on battery life flying in att. mode. if you fly in manual mode you can get a little further. i was also using 1.3 for vtx. if you want to go that far use 1.3.

Interesting.
You dont need 1.3 vtx for that distance.
Have you got a video of that flight?

no flytrex, it is on my discovery. i bought the new one and waiting for it. my 5.8 vtx will not go that far and i have 5 turn helical on it but all i can get is about 1.8 miles out. that would be impressive to get out over 3 miles on 5.8.
