I have two drones, both low end - a P3S and a Spark.
I started off with a P3S and discovered a few months after getting it that I could add more features by using a 3rd party App called Litchi. Now I could fly waypoint missions or take complex automated panos (360 spherical) and a whole lot more.
Then, this past Xmas I got a Spark to complement my P3S. The newer version of GO (GO4) supported panos just like Litchi but with less customization. The only thing missing was the ability to fly waypoint missions. Enter AutoPilot and now the Spark has waypoints, panos and more with infinite customizations. I can even run mapping missions on both my P3S and Spark, although they are likely not the best aircraft for that task.
I am amazed at the features I have available to me on my 2 low end drones as a result of 3rd party App developers. Hopefully they will keep up their App development.
