Application error - P3P

Hi all,
I went out for a fly today and had a strange this occour and couldn't work out what was go I ng on.

I have a ipad mini with the latest version of the DJI app, when I turned on the app and connected the radio it showed that I was connecting to a P4. I then tried to switch to the P3 but the app wouldn't allow the change. I turned everything off and back on but the same thing occurred.

I then connected my Samsung Note 5 and all was fine using the latest version of the app.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? If you have, what did you do to fix this ?

Once you power up the a/c the app will display properly.

Yes this happens only once. If you power up your AC too, it will remember your Phantom, as by default it picks up P4

I had noticed it too.

Yes, same thing happened to me the other day. I went through the same sequence as you except it cured itself. Weird.

I just factory reset my Ipad, reinstalled the DJI application and now the dame this is not seeing the radio or P3P.

Probably not wise.

If all else fails then do a recovery reinstall of the iOS firmware.

Well, I've un installed everything and re installed and still no joy.
Looks like it's a trip to the Apple Store on the weekend and talk to the Apple Tech support.
At least I can still fly using my Samsung Note 5.

Have you actually done a recover reinstall ?
Not just a simple erase and reset.

As it turns out I was doing it all wrong, thanks robind for putting me on the right track.
Thanks for providing the link in you post as it fixed all of my problems and it now works great again, just like new.
