Never had any issues and I go frequently. Fly responsibly and legally like you would anywhere else. Florida state park system doesn't allow UAV's in the parks. Keep in mind there is a private GA airport on the island, as well as Apalachicola regional, which both cover parts of the island if you're flying recreationally (make sure to notify). There also tends to be frequent low flying GA and military pretty much year round so keep your head on a swivel.
