Hi, I dropped my controller, made a grab at it and caught the antenna which came clean off and has about 5 inches of the antenna wire attached to it. Is this easy to take off and fix does anyone know?

NOyou do not need ot get a new controller. You will just have to replace the antenna with a new one. just like how the antenna upgrade mod is done Using a pigtail that will have a tiny IPX plug on one side that is the same plug used to connect the antenna to the board in side the controller under the silicone caulk. and the other end of the pig tail will have an rp-smp connector to it that you can screw a 5.8ghz antenna in to. pig tail http://www.ebay.com/itm/U-fl-IPX-to-RP- ... 1e7c6db05e and here is an antenna thats almost the same one just in black. http://www.ebay.com/itm/140731883767?ss ... 1423.l2649 or some thing like this will give you even more range then the stock antenna.. Here is a listing you can pick a pig tail and an antenna together. go with a 6 to 8 inch pig tail and for instance a 6dbi antenna. The 6dbi gets me out to about .9 miles. when a 3dbi I get about .6 miles http://www.ebay.com/itm/2dBi-5dBi-6dBi- ... 1e8970bc30

Here is a video that shows how to do the antenna mod and works on any transmitter. 5.8ghz or 2.4ghz

Nope. Unless you're still getting a connection, you're going to need a new controller.

omg, do not listen to this one!

Use this as a great opportunity to upgrade your antenna like the posts above mentioned
