Just left the Phoenix Zoo and while walking thru the parking lot I see a drone in the air and climbing higher and higher.

You would think the low flying airliners or the military helicopters would give them a clue.

Or just maybe they could look at an app to know it is restricted airspace.

Glad to see the expressed sentiment here has changed.

Many here posted similar posts/requests in the years past.
Typically they were chastised, criticized, rediculed and labeled 'drone police' not to mention the often ensuing guidelines vs. laws/rules debates.

Unless, of course, the pilot had a waiver. Probably didn't, but it's a possibility, especially if they were shooting something commercially for the zoo.

Disagree with that.

Been flying model aircraft for 40+yrs and have no fears of 'losing it all'.

Try the Mavic forum... it's full of people like that. They think as long as someone is not hurt, you don't need to follow rules.

Of course I hope you are right, but the technology that has made it so much better can be used to make it so much more restricted.

I would much rather be wrong!

Tech can always, if not often, be used for good or ill.

We adapt and move on.

True but as technology progress so the restriction. If Canada, been a very liberal country have a draconian law against the drone industry. I will not be surprised to see it in the US.

We'll never agree.

See ya' 'round...
