Just a quick introduction...
After spending what may be weeks or even months reading through this forum I eventually had the funds to get past adding the PV2 to the basket and I made it to the checkout. Order placed and should be shipped tomorrow so that means I'll either get it on Friday or Monday. The hard part is waiting for it.
I used to fly nitro helicopters (Concept, Raptor and then a T-Rex 600), changed onto RC truck/car thing (Traxxas Summit) which is awesome but then I wanted to get back into the air. I considered the A R Drone for a while but it didn't really seem right controlling it with a phone and it also looked very much like a toy. I found the PV2 and despite some of the known problems, decided that's the one to go for.
Apologies to anyone around the Glasgow area as my luck dictates that we'll have high winds and pouring rain for the next few weeks whilst I wait to get my new acquisition airborne.
