Is the screen on the P4P+ able to add apps to it like Hover, Litchi, etc. or is it a locked OS for only DJI Go 4? If it is, how do you update it if not through Google Play Store?

Just wondering as I believe some of the other apps running on my phone are what taxes the device so the video breaks up, i.e. that Samsung bloatware 24/7 stuff. I would think a locked and dedicated device would be the way to go, but don't know as some autonomous flying apps could be useful.

Per the P4P FAQ, you cannot install 3rd party apps.

uh oh! :(

No more Litchi or Autopilot if bought with the screen model? Cheaper model with an added iPad may be the way to go if you want autonomus flight software. Could be a deal killer on getting the screen then.

Don't know about FPV with their own goggles or Epson MT-300 glasses with the attached screen model either?

The P4P+ remote controller has an HDMI out, so you can use goggles with it right out of the box.
