Android Litchi or Autopilot app for the Phantom 3 Standard

I read on Facebook that Android Litchi app works with the Phantom 3 Standard, so I have a few questions.

I also have seen a post for Autopilot that is in beta for the Android. Which one is better?

Do both apps work with the Galaxy Note 4 and if anyone using it on the Note 4 are you having any issues?

I have only used DJI Go app with the P3S and I am worried that the app i chose may crash and then I will not have the info available to bring it home safely. If it does crash can you open the DJI Go app and have all of the control you would normally have?

Autopilot looks like it is cheaper than Litchi so can anyone tell me the differences between the two?

If an app crashes you can reopen it or open DJI GO and continue your flight, or presets like battery level or signal loss should activate RTH

I believe it's still in beta for the P3 Standard. The Litchi homepage still indicates that support for the P3 Standard is coming soon.
