Amazon app for dji

Has anyone had success with the amazon offering of the dji app? I bought a kindle fire and hacked it so I could get google play, then downloaded dji go, and it works fine, but I have been wondering about this amazon app. I have downloaded it twice, but it gets stuck on the start page. Either that, or the drone and rc have to be on to hook up and make it work, and frankly, with as much firmware grief as these things can generate, I just don't want to try to load a weird app from a tablet that shouldn't work on my perfectly fine drone, if ya know what I mean. If you've successfully downloaded it and got it to work, post it.

Nevermind, its a port to the dji app, but it doesn't work, just tries to sell you stuff and rip you off.
