In this special edition episode of AMA Air, we are joined by AMA Government and Regulatory Affairs team members Chad Budreau and Rich Hanson. We're covering the topic everyone has been talking about over the past week, UAS registration.

It did clear up a question I had about the 400' ceiling. It does not always apply to AMA members. good to know.
Also they mention legal actions they are taking in regards to the FAA registration.

So I signed up as an AMA full member, then registered with the FAA (12/21).
I don't mind registering with both as i will get my $5 back from the FAA, but does one of the registrations cancel the other, or enhance the other?
I would think that if an issue isn't covered by one (the FAA or AMA), possibly the other one would cover the issue?
Is this correct thinking?
I just wanted to be done with the registrations, and have basically ignored the FAA bashers on this forum, and there are TONS! They always seem to go off on tangents too about the FAA being hacked and the information becoming public... blah blah blah!

TJ thanks for posting.
