Hi

Does anyone know of any cheap alternatives to the (dji s800 I think) that could lift the panasonic hc v750 or does anyone have any leads on how to build one capable of doing so. Hoping to keep it below $2,000

Thanks in advance

You can start with a frame like this...

or this

add a flight controller

or

(i'd go with the Mega master set, all ready for waypoint programming)

some good motors...

or t motors, you can research sizes and stuff.

Some decent props, 4s/6s 8000mah batteries (4 or more) ,turnigy esc's, 45amps, power distribution board, and any other odds and ends you need, gimbal controller, etc etc.

You would have to build it but it is possible.

You could get a minimal capability within 2K probably. I built mine with higher end stuff and it came in about double that not counting camera. Additional costs will be batteries, charger, tx/rx, gimbal, fpv - which can add up quickly.

See my (semi) build thread here: http://phantompilots.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=10744
