Aircraft not connecting

Just purchased the PH4, charged the batteries, followed the quick start guide, etc. I'm not getting a signal on the aircraft. I checked the settings and the message "broken battery connection" is red.

what pad are you using and is it updated? I am using the Samsung 7" and have several packs (12 or so) flown in the past 2 weeks since purchase of my P4...occasionally I have to re-start my pad, Go app, RC and bird to get it all to connect and OK to fly
