After a bad crash I got new landing gear, birdside external antennas and installed. I had the aircraft all apart to remove the damaged internal antennas. Before buttoning everything back together I checked the app and got video feed and power. Since I finished buttoning up there's no transmission and only connects with the tx for 5 or so seconds followed by 30 secs of aircraft disconnected.
While saying disconnected, the tx can activate one rotor while another just stutters and the other two do nothing
The one rotor responds when commanded to elevate, pan right, throttle left and reverse
I did notice I accidentally put one of the ARGtek 2.4ghz antennas on the 5.8ghz port
Things I've tried include:
Linking rc-they both respond in the affirmative to link command
Checked all connections bird and tx
Different batteries
Apple and android devices
Questions:
Could this be a main esc issue because I just got a great deal on eBay today on a board with internal antennas, motors, external antennas, gps unit?
Could this be a gimbal issue or should the quad connect and stay connected regardless of gimbal even being connected?
Could I have fried the tx with wrong antennas?
Those with experience with these issues please chime in with
