Air side booster mod kit

The MaxAmps 2800's are the best bang for the weight, at 247g each, but they also cost $89 each, and exceed the specified carry load, but I haven't had any issues in 50 flights with them. I'm getting 28-29 minutes with the new motors and landing at 10%. Their extra weight may also exceed the sweet spot, but I know they work, and are a reliable baseline from which to tinker.
On my P3 Adv the Zippy Compacts 2200mah weigh 210g each with wires etc. plus the cf platforms and I ended up with 22 minutes down to 10% on their first discharge. I cycled them twice with discharger first. I have the old motors. HobbyKing has them for $15 but I checkened out on a second set and now there on back order.

I would go with the Hyperon LiHV but for one I'm cheap and $35 for 2 batteries beats $100+ for the xtra minutes. Second there has been some talk that DJI's batteries may not be LiHV after all. Tonight I'll put a charge on one and put a meter on it. Your right LiHV on the P3 batteries! 17.25V as opposed to 16.6V on the LiPos!

Zippy Compacts are not LiHV. You're short changing yourself with a 14.8v pack. You can get Hyperion G6 2400 15.2v LiHV and they even weigh less at 203g.

The Hyperion G6 2800 15.2v LiHV weigh in at 258g, so the Hyperion G6 2400 15.2v LiHV's at 203g appear to be the sweet spot for amperage and weight, which is why they are also in short supply.
