I've used the air blade, cloverleaf, and mad mushroom as transmitter antennas and I honestly haven't been able to tell the difference. The biggest difference I noticed was changing to a helical on the receiver end.
Currently, I'm using the air blade with an Immerision 600mw transmitter and a 5 turn helical on Fatshark Dominator HD goggles with very good results.
If you don't want to do the helical, the mad mushroom on the receiver end works well with the air blade on the vtx.
