I found this link in the RCGroups P2V thread and I don't recall seeing it over here.

It shows what you can get out of your P2V images when they're properly shot and processed.

It's also a pretty darned good primer on ACR for any RAW images.

On my MAC I am able to access the DJI lens correction from Photoshop.....but not in the Camera RAW module...any suggestions???

Thanks in advance! Dave

Nice tutorial.

Russel Brown knowns his stuff. He seems to have "calmed down" a bit, however. Some of his early videos/tutorials are REALLY "dramatic!" LOL!

Excellent tutorial video for DNG editing. I'm curious what program most use for video editing on the P2V and if there is a way to correct the lens profile for videos.

Photoshop Extended will use the lens profile on video as well. There is a tutorial floating around that shows how to do it.

I'm sure there are other ways. You might want to google how people "de-fish" their GoPro videos.

Thank you very much FSJ. I'll look into PS Extended. I have an older version of Photoshop but it sounds like that might fit the bill for both photos and video.

Nice find! Thank you very much for sharing :)

Just a bump up for this very useful link. I have been working with Raw files for quite a while but have always used capturenx which is Nikon's proprietary software and my lenses are of such a quality that usually the amount of work needed in post is not huge to make an image with pop. The workflow using the Adobe camera raw as outlined in the video really transforms the images from the PV2. I highly recommend everyone to watch it if you have not done so already.

I have typed out a step by step list of the steps Russell goes through in the video for my own use. If anyone wants a copy you are welcome to download it from http://www.webroutes.co.uk/phantom
I hope Russell will not mind - he gets full credit in the doc ;)

Any mistakes or other useful additions, please post here and I will amend it.

Neater than my version...

So we both have whiteboards in our study and bad handwriting...
Did not realise it was a whiteboard - I thought it was a scruffy bit of paper like the pile on my desk outlining video footage notes and various other miscellaneous jottings - have to get organised one day !

Excellent video & well worth downloading. The only criticism (very minor) is that he should have done a quick before and after at the end.

Thanks for posting :)
