Hello,
Ignorant if this question has been asked before: how can I add flight data to my videos?
I have of course the DJI Phantom 2, equipped with the GoPro Hero 3 White. I would like to see the altitude and speed and those sort of things on my recorded video, so not live in the air.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
Fabian

Two ways.
1) you add an IOSD mini and FPV and a DVR, and record the FPV. The quality is not good, but it does what you asked for.
2) add flytrex core or flytrex 3g. This logs various metrics from your flight. You can then use this data in something like DashCam to add intruments on top of your video.
Edit : This is a badly processed 1440 Wide video with a couple of basic Dashware instruments added :

To expand on what Hughie said, I use the Flytrex Core2, and now have Flytrex 3G Live on order. Then I use a program called Dashware (now owned by GoPro) that lets you attach flight data to gauges within Dashware.

It is a very cool capability to add to your Phantom prowess. I can never get enough data. I've added a link to one of my P2 flights. Flying 1 mile out and 1 mile back.

Use Mobizen. .it's a screen recoding app. .
That would be helpful if the OP were flying a Vision.
