Accelerometer Sensor Mode not working with Galaxy Tab 4

Has anyone had problems with the accelerometer sensor mode not working on Galaxy tablets? I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and it doesn't work when I pitch the device. The normal mode does work pressing up and down arrows.
