A simple Battery question - maybe

I notice that when I recharge a battery that has not been used (I have two of them), that unless the battery has just been charged, it starts recharging with two green bars. Here's the question: If the battery only drops to a midrange state of charge (SoC), does it count as a charge cycle in the cycle count?

You know you can test this yourself right? Check the charge cycles in the assistant for that battery. Do your charge thing that has you wondering. Put the battery in the phantom and check the charge cycles in the assistant. Report back what you find so the rest of us know.

Hi Tom,

It seems the batteries come partially charged, ie: 2 green bars.
They recommend doing a full charge the first time.
I have 5 batteries and they have been doing close the the 25 minute flight times.

I feel the key is to run them down as far as u can each flight.

Mine seem to take around 90 minutes to recharge.
